Ģirts Ozoliņš ist der Gründer und Visionär des Herstellers für elektronische Musik Erica Synths. Nach einer klassischen Karriere, die vom Physiklehrer bis zur Leitung einer Marketing-Kommunikationsagentur reichte, wurde seine wahre Berufung durch sein Interesse am Löten von elektronischen Musikinstrumenten und die DIY-Bewegung unter den Modularsynthesizern geweckt. Ģirts persönliche Leidenschaft für die Lehre und die Weitergabe von Wissen an künftige Generationen ist die Grundlage für die Entwicklung des Lernsynthesizers Bullfrog.
Ģirts Ozoliņš is the founder & visionary at electronic music manufacturer Erica Synths. With an accomplished career spanning from fields of teaching physics to leading a marketing communications agency, his true calling was sparked by an interest in trying his hand in soldering electronic music instruments as well as the DIY movement among modular synthesists. Today Erica Synths is one of the largest modular synthesiser manufacturers in the world creating intuitive and accessible music instruments while always keeping innovation at the forefront. Ģirts personal passion for teaching and sharing the knowledge for future generations to flourish is the mainstay behind the creation of educational synthesiser Bullfrog.
Workshop: Producing Electronic Sounds and Music
Did you ever wonder what all the colorful buttons on electronic music instruments are for but didn't dare to touch, nonetheless experiment with them?
In this workshop you will produce your first sounds and get creative as an electronic music producer! Additionally, you will learn basic knowledge about sound synthesis and electronic music production on analog synthesizers.
You will work with BULLFROG, an educational electronic music instrument created by Erica Synths & Richie Hawtin to make electronic music production easy and fun.
This workshop is held in English. You will learn a lot of practical skills, so basic understanding of English will be enough.
Der Workshop findet auf Englisch statt, wird aber sehr praxisbezogen sein, sodass man auch mit Englisch-Anfängerlevel teilnehmen kann.
