We browse the web every day. Rarely though do we think about the business and politics behind the web. What’s the definition of a good or bad search engine, browser, platform, or app, anyway? Ecosia and Mozilla’s Firefox are trying to get rid of the idea of consumer technology as money-making data leeches. Still they’re pretty successful. Génica Schäfgen and Angela Plohman will discuss how to integrate social responsibility into consumer technology.
